Another new beginning

I've wanted to start blogging again for along time.  I tried to over on my so called weight loss blog but there are only so many new starts that you can have.

So here I am; I am Slimming (or at least trying too) but my life isn't just about weight loss, thus Not Just Slimming.

A Birthday/Christmas Wishlist

I don't have big needs or wants but with my Birthday and Christmas just around the corner, I thought it might be worth while popping a little list together.

• A sewing machine - I love the idea of whipping up a cute dress or skirt for the girls whilst they are sleeping. This is kind of a big ticket item, so I'm not really expecting to receive it and if I did I probably wouldn't even get around to using it.
• A Cookbook - Anything by Nigella or Jamie that I haven't already got would be lovely. Please don't expect me to cook you anything from it, I just like to read and flick through the glossy pages and dream about being the domestic goddess that I am not.
• A Handbag - My current one is well and truly past it's use by date. Would it be boring to say that I just want it replaced by the exact same one that I already have?
• A trip to the Melbourne Zoo - I'd love a day to wander around the zoo with my gorgeous family. Not only would it make me happy, I'm sure that Chiara and Alicia would also love it too.
• A new do - My hair has gotten too long and I'm sick of it. I don't really know why I let it get so long, as it's half way down my back now and full of split ends. I can't be bothered spending the time to straighten it every other day and my grey hairs are well and truly shining through. I need a new look. Maybe my sister the hairdresser, would like to grant this wish for me, wink wink!
